What is the purpose of a mini orange / mini lime pump?
A Pump must be used when it is not possible to use gravity to take the condensation water away from the drip tray in the indoor unit to the outside of the premises. The pump is placed inside the drip tray or above the ceiling and will pump the water up to a maximum height of 8 metres, then out of the building. A Mini Lime Pump like the Orange Pump is used to take the condensation water from the drip tray; however it is fitted in plastic conduit (trunking) to the side of the indoor unit rather than fitted into the drip tray. You can use this conduit to hide your refrigerant pipes and cables as well. It can also take that water up to maximum height of 8 metres.
