What is the purpose for the “Preferred checkbox” under Address in the Entity Lookup?
If you enter address criteria for an entity search, you can select whether that criteria will limit your results to the Preferred Address, any non-Preferred Address, or any address of that entity. • By default, the indicator is checked gray, meaning the address criteria if entered will apply to any address connected with matching entities. • If you click the checkbox, the check will turn black, meaning entities will only be listed where their Preferred Address matches your criteria. • If you click the checkbox one more time, the box will be blank, meaning entities will only be listed where their non-Preferred Address(es) match your criteria.
