The National Academy contributed to the water study on April 10, 2007. The NAS was chartered to conduct a comprehensive review and evaluation of available scientific and medical evidence regarding association between exposure to drinking water containing TCE and PCE at Camp Lejeune and elsewhere. The study is expected to be complete fall 2008.
