What is the Psychology program at Western New England College like?
Our classes are small, and students form close connections with their peers and with our faculty. There is a great deal of personal interaction between students and faculty, and a student is not just a number in our program. Courses are taught by dynamic and experienced faculty with expertise in a variety of areas. The department also provides students with opportunities for learning beyond the classroom. Many students take advantage of research opportunities in our neuroscience lab or intern at a variety of local settings to maximize their experience. Graduates of the program have gone onto graduate school for the MS, MEd, MSW, PhD, and PsyD degrees at schools such as Columbia University, the University of New Hampshire, Smith College, Nova Southeastern University, Harvard, and Northeastern University.
