What is the proximity of the ED to X-Ray/Lab?
The Emergency Department at Genesys was designed in part by the Emergency Physicians. As such, many of the department features were created with the concept of function in mind. For example, the department possesses two full radiographic suites with dedicated staff. This means that patients dont leave the area for routine studies, and therefore turn around time for such studies is short. Likewise there is a Stat Lab located in the department, and dedicated to completing lab studies for the emergency medicine patients only.
