What is the proposed Youth Engagement Mural Program?
The City will establish a Youth Engagement Mural Program in partnership with Crime Prevention Ottawa to support youth and community groups in the implementation of outdoor murals in neighbourhoods experiencing high graffiti vandalism. The youth engagement component of the Mural Program is important to the crime prevention aspect of this initiative. The youth will learn about crime prevention, work with positive role models, and celebrate their community engagement and artistic contribution to the community.
