What is the proposed rate increased for sanitary sewer?

0

Sanitary sewer rates are proposed to increase an estimated 5.5 percent or about $1.80 per month for the average household beginning July 1, 2010. This proposed increase is shared proportionally between Clean Water Services and its member Cities. The modest increase is necessary to pay for the upgrade and expansion of Clean Water Services’ four wastewater treatment facilities, 39 pump stations and nearly 800 miles of sewer pipes, and rising operating costs; and increasing federal water quality requirements.
