What is the proper way to store solid waste?
Solid waste must be stored in containers with tight fitting lids. Containers must be stored in such a manner so as to not be visible to the occupants of an adjacent or nearby parcel, or to the users of any right of way. Solid waste shall not be stored for more than seven (7) days, to prevent propagation, harborage, or attraction of flies, rodents, or other vectors, and the creation of a nuisance. Recyclable materials separated from non-recyclable wastes may be stored for more than seven days provided that the recyclable materials are cleaned and stored out of sight in containers with tight fitting lids.
