What is the proper way to insert the battery?
When the battery is facing the proper direction, all of the following statements will be true: • The positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the battery will be aligned with, respectively, the positive and negative markings inside the battery compartment. • The arrow printed on the battery will point into the battery compartment, not out toward the battery door; and • The exposed contacts on the bottom of the battery will face the inside of the battery compartment, not outside, toward the compartment door.
