What is the proper way to copy and paste text into the editor?
If you are working in Kupu, you MUST first copy and paste from Word into Notepad so that all the stylesheets are removed, then copy and paste from Notepad into the editor. If you are working in FCKEditor, there is a “Paste from Word” button. Click that, and a window pops up. In this window, copy and paste your text from Word. You’ll notice that it carries over the styles, such as bold and italicize and the different font faces. Check the box that says “Ignore Font Face definitions” (this will make the font face conform to the Web site style), but leave the “Remove Styles definitions” box unchecked so that attributes like bold and italicize are retained. Hit OK, and you text will be pasted in correctly.
