What is the proper etiquette for finding a job, interviews, etc.?
Remember to present yourself professionally both in person and over the phone. When speaking with a recruiter or potential employer use correct grammar and stay away from slang. Be sure your answering machine or voice mail has a recording that is professional. Do not play music or play jokes on the person trying to leave you a message about an interview. Also, when going to an interview remember to dress professionally. Leave your kids at home or with a sitter and if you are car pooling ask the person who brought you to wait outside or come back when you are finished.
