What is the projected capacity of the water recycling center?
The current plan calls for a projected ultimate average day capacity of approximately 25 million gallons per day in about 2060. The projected capacity is determined by estimating the projected population of the proposed service area of the facility, and applying standard wastewater generation rates per capita. The projected capacity would be impacted by any variations in population (either in actual development or in future projection revisions) or any change in the area to be served (including any changes in participation by regional entities). These types of changes could occur as the plan for the water recycling center is refined. The water recycling center would be constructed in phases. The first phase capacity is projected to be in the 5 to 10 million gallons per day capacity range. This phased approach allows for adjustment in the ultimate capacity as conditions in the area may change. The proposed plant would serve the parts of western Tarrant and eastern Parker counties within
