This largely comes, we assume, from the online marketing related corporate giants that make up the majority of the group’s supporters. This is a huge conflict of interest for the group, which it rarely acknowledges. The IRS records show that Mr. Szoka’s co-author and colleague Adam Thierer made $146,234 in salary (with an additional $5,754 contributed for benefits) that year.
