What is the profile of the ‘ideal’ ISBF student?
At ISBF we are aware that each student has his own special strengths and unique talent. However, the course content of the Undergraduate programme of the London School of Economics assumes mathematical ability of high school level for the degree in Economics. For the other degrees too, mathematical ability up to the Grade 10 level is a pre-requisite. In addition, proficiency in English is also necessary. A student who is able to function well in a course-content demanding of mathematical ability, who is able to communicate fluently in English, a student who understands that when he/ she undertakes to study for one of the world’s most prestigious and sought-after degrees in Economics they are committing themselves to three years of focused study and application to learning, a student who understands that higher education means exactly that – education that challenges us to our fullest potential – is the ‘ideal’ ISBF student.
