OPC will investigate allegations that a teacher assisted a student in cheating on a proficiency test in any way, including revealing any specific question that the teacher knows is part of the proficiency test. If, after the investigation, OPC finds that the licensed teacher has aided a student in cheating on the proficiency test in any way, the teacher’s license shall be suspended for one year. Helping a student to cheat on a proficiency exam in any way is also grounds for contract termination. ORC 3319.
