What is the process to have the test after I have requested the EarlyCDT-Lung sample collection kit?
EarlyCDT-Lung is a physician ordered blood test. Please follow these 5 simple steps below: • Call your physician for an appointment. • Before your appointment, complete the Patient section of the Test Requisition Form (TRF) and forward the articles in the package to your physician or they can contact us directly with questions. • During the appointment, have your physician sign the TRF and draw a blood sample. • The staff will copy your insurance card (Medicare/private insurance), package the sample, completed TRF, payment envelope, and call Fed Ex for pick-up. Oncimmune will submit to the insurance company on your behalf. • In about a week from receipt of your sample, your results will be sent to your physician.
