The process for becoming Certified is simple: 1. Take the online placement exam to determine your current level of expertise 2. The placement exam will suggest a level based on your results (Getting Started leading to Level 1 Certification, Intermediate leading to Level 2 Certification or Advanced leading to SDL TRADOS Certified or Level 3 Certification) 3. Based on your results you have the option to download courseware, take a training course, or move straight to the exams for the level itself 4. You move up the Certification ladder by mastering each level 5. Once you have passed Level 3, you will be an official SDL TRADOS Certified user.
