What is the Process of obtaining Orthotics?
1) Most Insurance companies cover some if not all the cost of Custom Orthotics. Contact your provider for more details; Some plans may cover orthopedic footwear as well.2) You will require a doctor’s note with a diagnosis.3) Book an appointment at the Clinic4) Visit the Clinic where a Pedorthist will perform a full pedorthic assessment, check your range of motion (ROM) , biomechanics, and perform a gait analysis. Your foot will then be casted in plaster . Once you have been assessed you will be advised on proper shoes for your foot type that you can purchase.
