Communication is needed between organisations involved in the case of shared-care patients. As a general rule the Trust procuring and paying for the IVIg or where the panel exists should have the responsibility of ensuring a record is stored on the database for the patient. This may or may not be the tertiary centre who initially started the treatment. Only one of the two Trusts will be able to view the record. Other parties requiring information on the patient will need the data to be provided to them as they can not view patients not registered in their Trust. For any assistance in getting this data please contact NHS MDSAS.
