At mid point in any given year, teachers will assess student progress and suggest which students may be ready to transition. Those students will be given an standardized assessment for additional evidence. A transition meeting will be set up (parents, teacher, tutor and administrator will attend) and the results and recommendations will be brought forward. Parents are responsible for finding/selecting a new school. A staff member from KGS can, at the parent’s request, be available to speak with or attend a meeting at the intake school to provide insight into appropriate programming.
