What is the process for the Department of Health inspection?
A. One of our inspectors will contact the facility office at least one week in advance to make an appointment for the inspection. On the day of the inspection, the physician/representative should be available to accompany the inspector. After the inspection, the inspector will go over the survey with the physician/representative and indicate any deficiencies. The physician/representative is required to submit a corrective action plan to the Board of Medicine within 30 days from the date of the inspection.
