* Why do you need to produce a project specification? Projects inevitably start with a more or less vague idea of what is going to be done. The main purpose of producing a specification is to clarify your thoughts on some important aspects of the project. Thus prepared, the project should be easier to do and easier to manage. Another purpose for having a specification is to check that the project is feasible and appropriate. Some project ideas can be a little too ambitious or far-fetched.
