What is the process for requesting on-campus housing?
A. On-campus housing is guaranteed for all students accepted into the Honors Program PROVIDED you comply with the Housing Office requirements. These requirements can be found at http://www.sa.sdsu.edu/housing/howtoapply.html. In brief, priority for on-campus housing is based on the date University Cashiers posts the $250 Intent to Enroll payment for admitted students. Therefore, the sooner you submit your Intent and payment, the greater the chance of receiving on-campus housing and hall preference. Please note that spaces in the “Honors House” are not guaranteed. These spaces are limited, and are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please direct all inquiries related to Housing to the Office of Housing Administration, NOT the Honors Program.
