The Travel and Tourism Division of the Kansas Department of Commerce and Housing must agree that the attraction is a valid tourist attraction. If they do, contact the Bureau of Traffic Engineering and signs with a brown background will be installed on the highway at the intersection with the closest and most direct route to the attraction. These signs are installed at no cost to the attraction. Signs located within a city should be requested through the City.
