• Take an authorized firearms training class within 1 year of your application or renewal date. • Deliver the application packet along with your training certificate to the Sheriff’s office where you currently reside. Out of state applicants may apply at any MN sheriff’s office. • You must present a current drivers license, state identification card, or the photo page of your passport showing residency in the county. Permanent US Resident must present an I551 or I151 Card.
