What is the process for laboratory inspections?
Campus buildings shall be inspected as follows: • During laboratory reviews, the safety contact or other laboratory representative shall be present to observe and provide additional information and clarification; • At the close of each laboratory review, an exit interview with the safety contact or other laboratory representative highlighting the issues which were identified in the laboratory shall take place; • Laboratory review results shall be provided to the principal investigator within ten business days of a particular laboratory’s review; • Laboratory review results shall also be provided to the safety contact upon request; and • Summary results by building shall be distributed to the facility manager.
