What is the process for fingerprint jewellery?

Upon receipt of your order you will be sent an impressions kit, enough to take two fingerprints. Taking the prints is a very simple process and you will be provided with step by step instructions. You will then return the impressions in the pre-paid envelope along with the order form. Your unique piece of jewellery will then be created in my studio. Each piece is made by hand to the highest standard using a substance called (PMC) precious metal clay. PMC is made by combining pure silver particles with an organic binder. When your piece of jewellery is formed it is fired in a kiln which burns off the organic binder, leaving 99.9% fine silver. This is more pure than Sterling Silver (92.5%). After firing, your jewellery is finished and polished by hand. Once complete your unique piece of jewellery will be packaged in its own presentation box and sent by Recorded or Royal Mail Special Post.
