What is the process for dewatering?
First the removal of the sludge to a mix tank or holding tank, the sludge is pumped across a shaker screen or thru a grinder to remove or crush any debris. Conditioning chemicals are added if needed to the mix tank and then pumped to the dewatering unit. The dewatered solids go into appropriate containers and the removed water is disposed in an approved manner.
