What is the process for declaring the IdLS major?
Students first need to make an appointment to meet with a Department head in the College of Education. Dr. Martha Ross for Early Childhood, Inclusive Early Childhood and Elementary, Dr. Steve Purcell for Middle Grades and Dr. Laura Desportes for Special Education. After the meeting in the College of Education the student will bring the form to the IdLS department, Maury Hall Room 118, for assignment of an IdLS advisor and completion of the declaration process.
