WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR COMPLETING MY MAIL BALLOT?
The ballot you receive will provide the candidates and issues for which you are eligible to vote. The ballot will be an optical scan ballot requiring it to be marked according to the instructions provided in the ballot packet. In addition to the ballot, a secrecy envelope and a return mailing envelope is provided. Once you have voted the ballot, insert the ballot into the secrecy envelope and then into the return envelope. SIGN AND DATE the back of the return envelope. Affix first class postage and mail to the City Clerk?s Office or hand deliver the ballot to a designated drop-off site. If you have concerns regarding your signature being visible, you may hand deliver your ballot or place your return envelope in another envelope with the proper first class postage and mail to the City Clerk?s Office.
