We apply the principles of green chemistry in choosing new formulating ingredients. We also use the precautionary principle: some chemicals are not yet regulated, but there is sufficient evidence in the literature to suggest toxicity. Canada recently employed this principle in eliminating plastic water bottles containing BPA.
