What is the process for being deployed?
You will be responsible for managing your own career on the Cadre to ensure that you receive the necessary training, secondments and postings to enable you to be deployed. We conduct a Training Needs Analysis in order to determine what additional preparation is needed ahead of a member of the Cadre being ready for deployment and this forms the basis of Personal Training and Development Plan. After which we will let you know what training, postings and secondments are coming up and you can apply for them should they fit with your development needs. Once you have gained the necessary experience to make you suitable for deployment your skills and experiences will be matched against upcoming deployments. Those deemed to have the relevant skills will be encouraged to apply for particular deployments. Candidates do not have to apply for every role which matches their skill sets and are able to choose which ones they want to apply for.
