What is the process for becoming a Certified Professional Life Coach (CPLC)?
The designation Certified Professional Life Coach (CPLC) is awarded to those who meet our high standards of training, experience and proficiency as demonstrated by completion of the following: * The Essentials of Coaching or an equivalent introductory coach training course that is aligned with the ICF Core Competencies & Code of Ethics (30 hours or more). * Coaching Skills Development practicum or equivalent course of supervised coaching in a small class setting with successful evaluation according to the ICF Core Competencies via oral examination (20 hours or more). * Coaching Skills Mastery practicum or equivalent course of supervised coaching in a small class setting with successful evaluation according to the ICF Core Competencies via oral examination (20 hours or more). * Ethical Practice & Liability Risk Management or equivalent course addressing these topics in alignment with the ICF Code of Ethics and generally accepted professional standards (6 hours or more). * 50 or more clo
