What is the process for amending our documents?
Your documents themselves will specify the manner of amendment and the number of affirmative votes required to amend the document. Bear in mind that a community association usually is governed by more than one document; for instance, a condominium association may have a Master Deed, Condominium Bylaws, Corporate Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation, and Rules and Regulations. Each of these may have different amendment requirements and I cannot tell you what your particular document requires until I review it.
