What is the process a consumer would go through?
This is illustrated in our online demo (at www.geeps.com). Upon the end-user clicking on the GeePS icon on his/her mobile Internet device, the device transmits the user ID and location to the GeePS server. The server matches up that profile and location with the local businesses hosted on the server. The matched result is sent back for display to the user’s mobile device. Here’s an example: As Bob gets out of his car in the mall parking lot, he clicks the GeePS button on his Palm VII screen. The screen displays a list of the stores at the mall with an icon announcing a promotion or coupon for certain stores that match the criteria Bob specified in his profile. He clicks on the coupon for The Gap and is Palm VII screen shows a $12 discount on all Gap jeans purchased tonight. He decides that a pair of Gap jeans at a $12 discount is a tempting offer and enters The Gap store.
