What is the procedure to request a cancellation of requested OPT?
To request a cancellation of OPT: 1) You must write and submit a letter to ISO explaining why you are requesting a cancellation of OPT. 2) You must attach the 1-page certified copy of your OPT I-20 that was previously given to you by ISO. 3) If you have already mailed the OPT application to a US CIS Service Center, you must email Orientation and Employment Coordinator at isoemp@lsu.edu. It will have to be determined as to whether or not it is still possible for you to cancel your OPT request.
