What is the procedure to report a complaint about a towing vendor?
To report a complaint as a towing vendor or consumer stemming from services provided in connection with an accident or impound when the vendor was called from the SCPD or Town of Brookhaven list, please provide the complaint in writing and mail to: Tow Licensing Division, Brookhaven Town Hall, One Independence Hill, Farmingville, NY 11783. You may also send via fax at: (631) 451-6183. Please provide the date, time and location of the incident along with the name of the towing vendor and specific nature of the complaint. All complaints will be researched and responded to in a timely manner.
