What is the procedure to dispose of biohazardous waste?

0

Depending upon the nature of the waste, it may need to be autoclaved and then it can be disposed of in the regular trash. All biohazard symbols are to be removed or obliterated prior to discarding. If the waste is routine dry solid waste (e.g. gloves, lab papers), the waste is to be placed in a red infectious bag. When full, the bag is transported to the designated area and boxed up in the hazard boxes.
