What is the procedure if I, or an organization I represent, wish to utilize Suffolk County property/facilities for non-County purposes?
It is the policy of Suffolk County government to make County property available to citizens and non-profit organizations whenever that property is not in use by County government and when it is otherwise deemed suitable to do so. An Application for Use of Suffolk County Property for Non-County Purposes can be obtained from the Administrative Support Unit at 335 Yaphank Avenue, Yaphank, New York 11980 or by calling (631) 852-4212. A Certificate of Insurance evidencing Commercial General Liability Insurance with a minimum limit of Two Million Dollars per occurrence combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage with the County of Suffolk named as an additional insured must accompany all applications. This policy does not pertain to properties housing sensitive governmental offices, surplus property under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Real Estate, property controlled by the Trustees of the Suffolk County Community College, property under the jurisdiction of the Comm
