If you have AttendView 3.63 or earlier, you can download a free trial of AttendView 4.0 and try it before purchasing an upgrade from the online store. The following is the upgrade procedure. • Backup the AttendView database • Uninstall AttendView before continuing. To uninstall, go to the Control Panel, click on Add/Remove programs. Select the Install/Uninstall tab if not selected. Select AttendView from the list of applications. Press the Add/Remove Button. • If installing on a Windows 95 or NT 4.0 computer MDAC 2.5 SP2 must be installed. • Run AttendView40.exe (it is an InstallShield Express installation). Follow the displayed instructions. Note: To restore the earlier version of AttendView, uninstall AttendView 4.0. Then reinstall the original version of AttendView and restore the original database. If you dont restore the original database, it will contain unused fields in the database but will still work correctly.
