What is the procedure for transferring credits?

0

After you are admitted into the graduate program, you should plan on meeting with either your Specialization Coordinator or Dr. Nokes to evaluate your request to transfer credits from another accredited master’s program. Up to 12 credits may be transferred. The procedure for transfer of required courses is that you: a) present the course outline for the course that you want transferred to the Hunter nursing faculty who is teaching the course that you think is equivalent; b) the course faculty makes a written determination of equivalence; c) you bring the written determination to either your Specialization Coordinator or Dr. Nokes; d) a transfer of credit form is completed with the name of the equivalent required course. If you are interested in transferring elective courses, connect directly with Dr. Nokes since the procedure is easier.
