What is the procedure for the instructor and students to enter a KnowEdge class site?
A. Users enter the site via a common login page called login.asp. For instance, if the main directory has been named virtual_classroom under the domain http://www.domain.com/ then login page is http://www.domain.com/virtual_classroom/login.asp. Upon logging in with their usernames and passwords at such a class site, the instructor will be presented with the Instructor’s Homepage whereas the student will see the User’s Homepage. All work can be done by accessing the required pages from hyperlinks on the homepage. For example, to mark papers submitted by student, the instructor click the “Submitted Work” hyperlink at the homepage. To post a message to the discussion board just click the “Post Discussion” hyperlink. All the required hyperlinks are there on the homepages ! As shown above the Instructor’s and User’s Homepages look alike. However most of the hyperlinks on them are different, providing different functionality.
