What is the procedure for sending PSS samples to Gene Check?
In order to test for PSS we will need 1 to 2cc’s of whole blood in a purple top tube. It is important to rock the blood tube back and forth repeatedly so the blood will not clot. You will also need to chill the blood before sending it. If you are unable to chill the blood before you send it, we suggest you put a small ice pack in with your samples.
