What is the Procedure for Rematerialisation?
The process of converting electronic forms of securities into physical form (share certificates) is called rematerialisation. Those who wish to get back physical securities should make a request to the DP and the DP in turn will forward this request to the Depository. This will be intimated by the Depository to the registrar of the company in question and the certificates will be printed and dispatched to the investor.
