Government have conferred powers in G.O Ms. No 173 Ind & Com(Tex) Department dated 17-07-2008 U/s 8(4) of Micro Small and Medium Entrepreneurs Development Act,2006 (27 of 2006) to the Asst. Directors (H&T) at the District level as authority with which a Micro or Small Entrepreneurs shall file the Memorandum in respect of Handlooms ,Power looms , Garmenting and other Textile Industries proposed to be set up with in the District. Govt. have also extended benefits accrued to the SSI units registered with H&T Department in G.O.M s No. 87 Ind & Com (Tex) Department dated 2-03-2009.
