Out-of-area applicants can mail their 7-year driving history and the complete application to Broward Sheriff’s Office, Attn: Human Resources, 2601 W. Broward Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312. Applications can be obtained by clicking this link. Out-of-area applicants may also request an application by calling our Job Hotline at 888-BSO-STAR. An analyst will review the documents and contact the applicant regarding coming to the Fort Lauderdale area for condensed testing. During condensed testing, which lasts 3-5 days, applicants will complete necessary phases of the hiring process.
