What is the procedure for obtaining an Operation Enduring / IRAQI Freedom Vehicle?
– You must be on the Vehicle Control Officer (VCO) Listing. – Justification on DA Form 4610-R. – FORSCOM form 248-R (Request for Motor Transportation) filled out and signed by your VCO. – All units before you can request a GSA vehicle from the TMP you must have a Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR). – All tenant units must have an Acquisition Processing Code (APC). Note: The letter of justification must be in the guidelines of AR 58-1 (Management Acquisition and use of motor vehicles).
