What is the procedure for media registration?
Media registration is free of charge, but advanced registration is required with proper media credentials. To register as a media representative, proof of accreditation is required either in the form of a photocopy of official press credentials, or a letter of assignment to the conference on the stationery of the media organization for which you work. Freelance journalists wishing to cover the conference must submit copies of three by-lined articles in addition to an official letter of assignment. Copies of documentation can be sent electronically to dci@cox.net or by mail to the following address by July 14, 2011: DCI Conference -2011, Media Registration Distressed Children & Infants International (DCI) 5 Shipton Court, Cheshire, CT 06410, USA DCI cannot take responsibility for postal delays or delivery failure of supporting documentation. Without these important documents, we are unable to process the media registration application. Conference secretariat will verify all credentials.
