What is the procedure for making sure that family members are scheduled for interviews together?
Applicants can facilitate this process by filing all family members packages at the same time in the same envelope, and organizing them according to the family package assembly guidelines. Once the packages reach the Lockbox and NBC, we make our best attempt to group family cases together before sending them to the scheduler. However, the Field Office has the final control over scheduling matters. If you find that your family (or your clients family) was not scheduled together, contact the Field Office to request that they be rescheduled for the same timeframe. Please note that the NBC cannot group an attorneys non-family clients together for interview.
