Teachers who meet the grandfathering requirements for middle level, early childhood and/or elementary education should complete the top portion of the grandfathering request form and submit it to their principal. Principals will complete the shaded section of the form verifying three years of experience. After signing the form, principals will forward the form to HR for final processing and submission to the SDE. The SDE will send the new certificate to HR. One copy will be sent to the teacher and the other placed in the teacher’s file at the Central Office.
